How should I care for my LSJ fine jewelry?

We hope your love your Lauren Sigman Jewelry. To care for your pieces so they will last forever please think about the following:

  • Our fine jewelry is made with 14K, 18K, or Sterling Silver depending on the piece you purchase. Moisture, lotions, perfumes, chlorine, household cleaning agents, and salts are just few of the many things that can harm your jewelry. Please avoid them. Cleaning your jewelry regularly will help keep it looking brand new. Do not use any abrasive brushes as this will cause scratches on the metal and some gemstones. If your jewelry has stones in it, the best practice is for your stones to be checked and/or tightened by a professional jeweler at least once a year. If you ever hear your stone clicking, or when you tap your stone it moves, it is loose in its setting and should be taken to a jeweler immediately.
  • Protect your jewelry in our special Lauren Sigman custom pouches and store them in a safe place. This will help prevent scratches and tangling.

Can I have my new LSJ purchase gift-wrapped?

Yes. We have a special box next to every item on our website. If you make a purchase and want your item gift wrapped, simply check the gift wrapped box.

Your purchase will be wrapped in our special boxes and LSJ gift paper for an additional charge of $2.00. All pieces come with our custom Lauren Sigman Jewelry pouches. We’re even happy to write a special note if it’s a gift. Simply tell us what you want it to say in the notes section of your order.

What form(s) of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Amex through PayPal as well as Apple or Amazon Pay.  If you prefer to pay by Venmo this is also an option, and we can give you instructions for sending payment by these means. Please contact info@laurensigmanjewelry.com for more information.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! Items in your order that are designated for shipment to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees.

With respect to each item for which Import Fees have been calculated, you authorize Lauren Sigman Fine Jewelry to designate a carrier ("Designated Carrier") to act as your agent with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise, process and remit your actual Import Fees for such item.

If you refuse a shipment from Lauren Sigman Jewelry, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any Import Fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund. Please email your shipping and handling questions to info@laurensigmanjewelry.com

What if I want to use a different chain on a Lauren Sigman Jewelry pendant than the one you’re showing, or I want it in a different length?

That’s not a problem. Simply email us with the item number and what chain you want with the pendant. We’re happy to email you back with the pricing and let you know if it’s the same, more or less. Also, if you prefer to have you chain longer, shorter or adjustable, we’re happy to do that as well. Simply email us and we’ll get back to you with your options.

What do I do if I don’t know my ring size?

Best thing to do is to stop into a jewelry store and ask them to size your finger for your ring size. Most of our rings can be sized if you want to take an educated guess but some of our rings are eternity bands and difficult to size. If you’re ordering this type of ring, we want to get it right the first time.

What is the difference between precious and semi-precious stones? And what does Lauren Sigman Jewelry use?

The term "semi-precious" is somewhat misleading as it suggests that some gemstones have inferior value. Years ago, most people considered ruby, emerald and sapphire as the "precious" gemstones, and all others as "semi-precious." In truth, all natural colored gemstones are rare and precious, and their prices are determined by the availability and quality of the gemstone. At LSJ, we hand select each and every gemstone that goes into our private collection pieces, and with our collection or the designers we represent, we will always specify in the description the gemstone used in each piece.
