Pink Spinel (3.35 ct) and Diamond Ring/18K

This beautifully crafted ring is special in many ways. First, the Cushion cut Pink Spinel is natural (as in NOT heated). Heating Sapphires and other gemstones is a normal process in the jewelry industry. Heating brings out the color and vibrance in some stones. This spinel actually came out of the earth this color making it rare and unique. Second, the raw stone was made spectacular by the award winning stone cutter Mark Gronlund,GG. After acquiring this amazing stone, I proceeded to design the setting to allow the stone to stay center stage while adding .85ctw VS HI diamonds surrounding the Spinel. All set in 18K yellow gold with our split band style.

His most recent accomplishments are back to back 1st place awards in the 2018 & 2019 Spectrum Awards competition in the "Innovative Faceting" category, totaling 12 AGTA Spectrum Awards.
